Kilowog was in a locked chase with Alisand'r hot on his tail. A Tamaranean with super strength and invulnerability would send anyone hightailing it but that wasn't why Kilowog was flying away. He was more concerned with trying to think of a strategy that could actually work. Since their fight had begun, the two were reduced to a stalemate. Neither could seem to get the upper hand on the other. Kilowog managed to turn himself around midair and fly backwards as he shot a series of green energy beams off. Alisand'r avoided them all by weaving between each one. As she came out of the obstacle she graced the Bolovaxian with a cocky smirk. Getting an idea, Kilowog suddenly stopped and reached a hand back. Alisand'r had tried to come to a stop but before she could Kilowog grabbed her by the throat just before she could crash into him. A/N: So yes I'll be taking some creative liberties with the Tamaraneans. I do like the powers they were portrayed with in the Teen Titans animated series. Not long after the fight started did John learn that Tamaraneans fought dirty. Not only that but they were much stronger than he had anticipated. It was not just physical prowess but the fact that each of them had a completely different ability from the other. It reminded John of the metahumans back on Earth. Ph'yzzon not only possessed superhuman strength but he was able to duplicate himself. He was using the ability to land cheap and dirty hits. Zirral wasn't as physically strong as Ph'yzzon yet she had a more annoying ability to go against as a Green Lantern. She was able to absorb energy and project it back by powering up her own energy

A/N: Okay so this chapter is just filled with inner spite. My tablet broke and I lost not only my outline and written out scenes for future chapters but I had lost the original of this chapter as well...7k words just gone like that. I was extremely salty over losing all of that progress. It honestly killed my motivation for a good while. Now...I'm rusty as shit. A blush immediately rose to her face and she couldn't stop herself from melting into his touch. Her head was spinning. Her heart felt as though it had burst into a million pieces. She was with Carter. Lying on top of his bed. She couldn't believe what was happening. She couldn't believe it was even possible. Shayera couldn't quite comprehend her current situation. Yet here Carter was with her. Touching her, kissing her, loving her. His touches set her system aflame and left her stomach twisted up. She wasn't going to last at this rate. Shayera felt her body give an involuntary shudder as she felt Carter's hand slowly travel up her right inner thigh.

Shayera did her best to control the light tremble in her hands as she was flanked by Deadshot and Lightweaver on each side. The three were in the elevator going from the teleportation deck up to the control deck. Normally the ride up was no more than ten seconds but, to Shayera, it right now felt like an entire hour had passed by. The elevator came to a stop and the doors hissed open. Shayera's heart lurched and her chest clenched uncomfortably as Deadshot placed his pistol on the small of her back. "Get moving," he sharply whispered to the Thanagarian. Shayera shakingly exhaled through her nose as she reluctantly complied. Thankfully the gunshot wound to her left leg gave her an excuse to walk slowly and bought her at least a little bit of time to try to think of a way out of this. Shayera silently sat on edge of the bed in the medbay. She couldn't remember just how long she had been sitting there in silence and by herself with her thoughts. She figured it had to be a few hours at the least. She took in a deep breath, held it for a moment, and then let out a heavy sigh. She looked down to see the bandages wrapped around her left thigh and tentatively pressed a finger over the freshly stitched wound that was underneath. Shayera immediately recoiled her hand and winced. She didn't quite know why she had expected for it to not hurt. Shayera let out another sigh as she glanced over her right shoulder and at her now bandaged wing. She was surprised that her wing hurt the least out of the two serious injuries she had sustained. Her left ankle and right shoulder as well stung from the cuts but she knew that they would quickly heal within a few days. When J'onn had been stitching and bandaging her up she had jokingly suggested to give her an Elmo bandaid for the wounds

"...you don't belong having a baby to begin with..." Wally's words kept playing over in Shayera's mind over and over. No matter what she did she couldn't stop the words from plaguing her subconscious. She couldn't stand that his words were playing right into her insecurities of being a mother, her fears of being a terrible mother at that. Shayera already believed that she had no right to be having a baby and Wally's words had only served to reinforce her belief. Despite being curled up in bed, Shayera was anything but calm or relaxed. What she was feeling was, simply put, a mixed bag of anger, fear, depression, and anxiety that just seemed to swirl around in her gut like a tornado. Even though she was lying on her own comfortable mattress in the comfort of her own home, it didn't feel that way to Shayera. The Thanagarian felt as if she was lying on literal pins and needles as her whole body was prickling in discomfort. Shayera took in a deep breath before she shakingly exhaled. Her
